Life changes can be difficult, stressful, and overwhelming at times, and in these moments we often feel helpless and alone. Anxiety and depression can make you feel as though every day is a struggle and that there is no way out. It takes strength and courage to admit when we need assistance to deal with such issues, and simply reading this profile shows you have the strength and determination to make positive changes in your life. By using a collaborative, strengths-based approach, we will work together to help tap into your inner strengths and make changes that improve your life for the better.
I work with a broad range of clients including adolescents, teens, adults, couples, and families. My specialties are anxiety, depression, anger management, as well as clients struggling with life transitions. I am open and affirming and work with clients of all race, religion, and sexual orientation.
I utilize an integrative approach that combines evidence-based cognitive behavior therapy and rational-emotive behavioral therapy with narrative and strengths based therapeutic interventions. This approach helps clients create a new story for themselves focused on their strengths while using scientifically validated therapies.
